Rezeption: Fähigkeit, gesprochene und geschriebene fremdsprachliche Mitteilungen zu verstehen
Produktion: Fähigkeit, sich mündlich und schriftlich in der Fremdsprache zu äußern
Interaktion: Fähigkeit, Gespräche zu führen und zu korrespondieren
Mediation: Fähigkeit, durch Übersetzung oder Umschreibung mündlich oder schriftlich zwischen Kommunikationspartnern zu vermitteln
Folgende Niveaustufen werden bei uns bisher angeboten:
- Englisch für Bankkauffrau/Bankkaufmann – Niveau II (Threshold)
- Englisch für Bankkauffrau/Bankkaufmann – Niveau III (Vantage)
- Englisch für Industriekauffrau/Industriekaufmann – Niveau II (Threshold)
- Englisch für Industriekauffrau/Industriekaufmann – Niveau III (Vantage)
- Englisch für Berufe im Gastgewerbe (Fachleute für die Systemgastronomie, Hotelfachleute, Köche, Restaurantfachleute) – Niveau I (Waystage)
- Englisch für Berufe im Gastgewerbe – Niveau II (Threshold)
- Englisch für Berufe im Gastgewerbe – Niveau III (Vantage)
Diese Niveaustufen orientieren sich an den Stufen “Waystage“ (Niveau I), „Threshold“ (Niveau II) und „Vantage“ (Niveau III), die vom Europarat im Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning and Teaching definiert wurden.
Niveau II (Threshold): schriftliche Prüfung 90 Minuten, mündliche Prüfung 15 Minuten
Niveau III (Vantage): schriftliche Prüfung 120 Minuten, mündliche Prüfung 20 Minuten

| The candidate can understand clearly defined, individual items of information in simply structured texts that are in very frequent use in his/her field of work, using aids such as dictionaries and illustrations. He/she can understand the content of short messages relating to everyday working life when these are spoken clearly and slowly and there is an opportunity to listen to them more than once. | The candidate can speedily understand the details contained in texts that are in frequent use in his/her field of work, using aids such as dictionaries and illustrations. Although the influence of the mother tongue may still be recognisable with regard to pronunciation, choice of vocabulary and use of structures, he/she has an appropriately idiomatic mode of expression at his/her disposal. |
The three levels of the Foreign Language Certificate issued by “The Standing Conference of Ministers for Education and Culture of the Länder” (KMK) can be categorised according to the Euro-Levels as follows:
A: Basic User
